I believe love is something we should tend to like our favorite plant — give it sunlight, fresh air, and water, and let it grow.

That same care guides my work as a photographer and environmental advocate. I’ve found a way to merge my love for storytelling with my commitment to the planet. Through a partnership with One Tree Planted, every photo session includes the opportunity to plant a tree — you choose the location, and I make the donation in your name. It’s simple, intentional, and rooted in giving back.

Trees naturally sequester carbon, pulling greenhouse gases from the atmosphere and helping to slow the pace of global warming. By planting trees and capturing people and places around the world, I’m able to track the carbon offset of each shoot, creating impact that grows over time.

I’ll leave you with this: somewhere on this planet, a tree sprouted on the day you were born. It’s been growing alongside you ever since. Return to that image whenever you need grounding — a quiet reminder that your existence is in harmony with the Earth.

    I am a firm believer that you don’t “need” to book a session for a particular “reason.” Birthdays, anniversaries, showers, all worthy of celebration, of course! But ‘just because’ in-home sessions have a special place in my heart and are actually my favorite to capture. Candid photography was always my first love. If you want to book a session just because, let’s chat! Some of my favorite photos that are framed around our home are products of ‘just because’ sessions with local photographers.

Wait, so what exactly is One Tree Planted?

One Tree Planted is a non-profit 501(c)3 environmental non-profit tree planting charity that plants trees in countries around the world. When you book a shoot with Molly, you get to pick where you would like your tree planted. You will receive a custom certificate upon receipt.

Since 2014, they have planted over 135.5 million trees across 82 countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific.

With forest fire recovery in the west, longleaf pine restoration in the southeast, and National Forest restoration from coast to coast, the United States projects are planting trees to recover ecosystems after natural disasters, restore habitat for biodiversity, stabilize vital watersheds, and more. FOREST FIRE RECOVERY

Reforestation is one of the best ways to restore lands that have been degraded by forest fires. Plant trees in British Columbia, Alberta, and other projects/places to help restore what has been lost. Learn more here
